About Us Accommodation At Winifred's Rest, we accommodate our guests in three bedrooms, a double and a king which have ensuite shower rooms, and a twin room with a private bathroom on the same floor. Your comfort matters. Hence we've provided electric blankets and fan heaters for cold nights. Every room is equipped with a beverage station where guests will find complimentary sachets of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits, and anyone wanting more only has to ask. And yes, there is a tv in each room. We provide an iron and ironing board on request. Breakfast Breakfast is served in the dining room between 8.00am and 9.15am. Each morning, the buffet table is laden with cereals, yoghurt, bread, Bara Brith, fresh fruit and fruit in syrup. Please help yourselves to the buffet while we prepare your hot breakfast. Guests have a choice plain sausages or herb and garlic sausages. For vegetarians there's quorn sausages. For the rare few who like black pudding, that's also an available option. Our mushrooms are stir-fried with black pepper, salt and butter - very tasty we've been told. But that's what it means to be pampered. While sausages, bacon and black pudding are bought from our local butcher who also makes some of the world's yummiest pies, our eggs are free-range so that means they come of hens running running freely and, one might venture to imagine, happily on the rolling greens. Guests may opt for smoked fish or vegetarian breakfast and we'd be happy to oblige. Guest Lounge Guests may relax in the lounge which is furnished with a 42 inch wall-mounted tv, dvd player and a discerning selection of movies. There's also a library where guests can enjoy a quick fling with a recipe book or teleport themselves to foreign climes with our collection of travel books. Walkers, Cyclists, Artists and Nature-Enthusiasts Welcome We understand that at the end of a long day, you'll have clothes and shoes you want to dry out. This is after all, wet Wales. Our utility room is nice and warm and will be open to guests who wish to leave their gear there. However, guests need to be aware that as other guests too, will have access to the same utility room, you will be responsible for your own belongings. In each room, you will find a boot tray if your prefer to keep them where you can see them. Our garage can take up to 20 bicycles or fewer of any other sport vehicles as long as they are of reasonable size. A key to the lock will be provided for the duration of the storage. Parking Round the back of Winifred's Rest, there is lots of off-road parking for guests who drive. If you're travelling by bus, 19 and 19A from Llandudno and Llandudno Junction (going towards Llanrwst or Betws-y-Coed) will take you to the Trefriw Woollen Mills bus stop, which is about 50 yards from our house. If you are travelling by train to Llandudno Junction, we may be able to pick you up depending on the time of your arrival. Tarot Card Reading For the spiritually inclined, tarot card readings are available some evenings and those who wish to book a half-hourly session for £20 may do so during their stay although advance booking would be advisable to avoid disappointment. Dogs Welcome We're half wild and rather insane lovers of animals and the quiet comfy life. Clean dogs are always welcome with or without their owners.
